Saturday: Very unplanned events coming up to create a wonderful exciting day!
It all started with Saturday morning infomercials. I've learned that Zach likes these. And often gets excited about what he sees. Long story short, we started browsing the internet for deals on the Jack LaLane Juicer Deluxe and the Nu-Wave Oven, and happened to find a guy that was getting rid of BOTH these items for an extreme deal! (He had gotten duplicates as gifts) He happened to be located in Draper and since our Saturday was wide open we said, "Why not!?". So we started our journey of attaining our beloved juicer and oven, when shortly after reaching Draper, found out that our appliance dealer had come across a family emergency. He would now be in the hospital the rest of the day. Zach's dreams died (but don't worry we will be able to get them later!)
Well we lucked out because my family just happened to be at Snow Bird this weekend for a work thing. And that was only 20 minutes away, so our 2 hour drive wasn't in vain and we got to go spend the rest of the day with my family! It was frrreeeeezzziiinnnngg. Poor Zach wore flip flops. We rode a tram up to the tippy top of the mountain where there was snow, wind, and seeing your breath. But it was a beautiful ride.
Emily and her friend were absolutely freaking out the whole time and it was great entertainment.
We then got to play some games at the hotel room, go to dinner, and watch The Karate Kid all snuggled up in one bed. The bed was huge. I have no idea why they make beds that big. But it was fun! This is my new alltime favorite picture. It makes me laugh everytime I see it.
