We spent the past few weeks talking about weddings and love and dancing and kisses and all things marriage! The boys have loved looking at our wedding album and frequently started saying "I wanna get married in the temple!" If you ask who they will marry, Eli says me and Jack says dad :) They were so excited to see Les dressed up like a princess on her big day and to wear their special wedding clothes.
The night before the wedding, they had a dinner in Ogden at a Mexican restaurant. They boys asked if there would be cupcakes at the party so Jake and Les stopped at a bakery and bought them special cupcakes. So nice!
Jake and Les were married on August 12 in Milcreek canyon. It was a beautiful setting and a day full of love and support for them. I was so worried about the boys and their big job as the ring bearers. But despite some shyness during practice, and some crankiness before showtime due to nap time, they did they part without a hitch. They carried the little boxes down the aisle and delivered them to the right people and looked so handsome doing it! My uncle Rob was the officiator to marry them and before you know it, they were Mr. and Mrs! Some iPhone pics from the venue/ceremony.
The reception was in my parents backyard and was decorated beautifully. Cold Stone catered which was delish. The highlight for me was watching Jack and Eli dance the night away with their girlfriends Harper and Avery. They would hold hands and be wild and crazy together and it was so fun to watch. Another highlight was watching Eli be the one to get the garter! So funny. And playing with the Photo Booth props.
