California Visit

We had a 4-5 day window of Zach not working so we decided to make a break for California! It seriously is so cool that we can take the kids to visit Grandma and Grandpa like this. We feel super lucky! Flying is always a treat for Jack and Eli. It's getting harder with Joelle and it's always a little stressful trying to get her calmed down to sleep in my arms. But we always survive.

First things first once we arrived. SCOOTERS!

BEST beach day at Half Moon Bay. We all had so much fun chasing the waves, playing in the sand, and enjoying the perfect weather. 

Did a day at the Redwoods. Fun train ride through the forest and then a little walk. Gorgeous trees and we were in awe. We got to walk completely inside one that was so dark inside as it was closed all around us. Really cool!

The Monterey Aquarium was insanely cooler than we expected. We stayed hours and could have stayed hours more. Can't wait to come back here. 

 Had dinner at a nice restaurant on the ocean and got ice cream after. 

Boys got to play Mario kart for the first time. Entertaining for sure. 

 Walks around the neighborhood with the scooters.
