February bdays

For the February Johnson birthdays, we partied at Jill and Adam's house. This month we were celebrating Adam turning 30, Easton turning 8, Porter turning 5, and Andrew turning 4. Zach and his dad decided to build a dog house for Adam and Andrew's gift since they recently got a new puppy. They did an awesome job! It opens up and is lined with material that can be washed out. 

Jill planned a vday cake decorating competition for us. We decorated as families and each picked a word that had to be drawn on the cake and a word that had to be written. It was lots of fun to create together :)

(As you can see Zach got his hair cut!! He totally surprised me with this on Monday and I was thrilled!)

 This is mom and dads 'love bug' cake.

 This is Zach and I's 'heart and arrow' cake. Stating that 'every day is v-day at our house'. It's kind of a standing joke that every day is a holiday at our house cuz we are just SO in love...HA!

 This is the Evan's 'cupid' cake complete with Porter in a red loin cloth playing the role of cupid. Hilarious!

Of course we were all the winners. Our 3 day President's weekend also consisted of playing with Jake in Layton and meeting his friend that's a girl, Stacie. We went to eat at the Pie (yuuuummy pizza), then a Weber basketball game, then got ice cream from Walmart and played Ticket to Ride and Chinese Checkers at his house. So fun to play with them. We left at midnight to drive home to Logan in a snow storm. So lucky I have a confident driver of  a husband and reliable vehicle to get us safely home. I just blocked out the scariness by eating my nutella on-the-go snack. Mmmm nutella...
