Zach stayed home and met up with us at the cabin the next day. But before he left, he sent me this picture. Eli had made his way over in Jack's crib for the first time! We're in trouble! (Jack does NOT look excited about this new discovery)
We love getting to relax at the cabin for Labor Day weekend. It's always the weekend near my dad's birthday and it's always his request. "Family time is sacred time" he loves to quote and I know being together is the best gift for him. It was full of food food and food (of course), walks in the cool air to see the horses, a drive to the lake, games, and playing. Love my family and the time we spend together!
Lunch when they finally made it to us! They were cranky little stinkers for Zach and they were much later than planned.
The fresh air, sticks, and rocks got them happied up in no time.
Eli pouts for anyone who leaves the room these days. He puts on the saddest face and whines their name. Nana is still his number one person.
My dad took some amazing pictures of the Milky Way.
This marked our first trip away from home not bringing high chairs. They sat at the table and bar like big boys. Can't believe it.
Pizza stop on the way home on Monday.
Monday night, Emily was so kind to do a little birthday photo shoot with them. We went to a nature park nearby and they did awesome! I asked them to be cute for a warm up picture as we were getting ready at home and they were hilarious with this pose! So excited to see the shoot!
