Birthday celebrations for Jack and Eli!

3 years came just like that! Jack and Eli totally understood their birthday was coming this year and it was the topic of conversation for weeks before the big day. They learned how to hold up three fingers,  say how old they were going to be, and all they cared about was that they were going to the "Fun place" and getting cupcakes when the day came. I was so excited to let them have some friends over for their first real party to celebrate. They love being with their friends!! They also love Bounce N Slide. So combining the two was the perfect match for a perfect day for them.
One of their besties, Corey, was going to be out of town on their birthday so couldn't make it to the party. He came over earlier that week and gave them this awesome tent and tunnel! What's funny is that their nanny, Jessica, came on their birthday to babysit and had brought the EXACT same awesome tent and tunnel. I felt so bad for the crazy coincidence as she saw it already set up in the living room haha!
Their bday was on a Friday so I set up a little balloon/sign for them to wake up to and I got to hug and kiss my 3 year olds officially after work.
So many people wanted to love of them after work. Uncle Braden face-timed them, Aunt Jill and cousins called to sing to them on the phone, and Great Grandma and Granpda Christensen came over bearing gifts. Such loved kiddos.
As soon as dad got home from work, we headed to the much anticipated party at Bounce N Slide! They were seriously in heaven. They did not want to leave when the two hours was up. They didn't even want to sit to open presents. They wanted to be out  partying on the bouncy toys. I was so happy to see them loving their day and being with friends.
Made the easiest lemon cupcakes and they were so yummy I must say.
The singing made their buddy, Hudson, start bawling. The boys were so confused haha! But they blew out their candles like little champs.
The next morning, Auntie Em wanted to buy them lunch. So we go Old Grist Mill and headed to Tony Grove! The fall leaves were to die for. Unfortunately they fell asleep on the hour drive and Jack peed himself bad while he was sleeping. I had no extra underwear or pants or anything...so he got to spend the day in soaked bottoms then drive home naked with a sweatshirt around his bum. At least we still enjoyed ourselves!
Then on Sunday we had the grandparents and my siblings over to celebrate. Holli's kids also came because they were staying with Bob and Willa that week. They loved have some cousins over and getting spoiled even more...sheesh.

Cousins got them these two little guppies. Jack said we should name them "Nemo and Mommy Nemo". Unfortunately we woke up the next morning and they were already dead! :(
More sugar to celebrate. They waited so seriously with their hands folded while we sang to them then blew out their candles right on cue. It was so cute.
Zach and I gave them a karaoke set. So far "You are so beautiful" is the favorite to sing :)
