Thanksgiving at the cabin

We got to spend the week at our cabin and it was bliss. We wish life could always be a break from reality. It was so nice to spend every moment together as a family and just relax. We got there a few hours before my family did so we had to turn everything back on and warm up the cabin. We kept shorting out the power and it was pretty cold in there, so the boys and I snuggled by the heater as Zach went around and fixed everything.

Zach then shut all the blinds, turned off all the lights, and built a fire. It was so fun to snuggle in the dark and cozy cabin, watching the fire.
The next day was Thanksgiving and mom and dad slaved away for us and made a delicious meal. They're the best.
The rest of us weren't as helpful...sorry
We played lots of nintendo games as a family and had a blast.
We also played games of course. Eli's first poker game.
So grateful for my family. My very own family we've created, the family I was born into, and the family I've married into. So blessed.
These hats were made and given to us by Wendy Rowlette (from our ward). We had to take some pictures :)
They boys were wiped out from all the fun. Zach set them up like this for their bedtime feeding and they zonked out. Hilarious!
