Conference Weekend

We were SO looking forward to a weekend away at the cabin to watch conference. It's my favorite place to be with my family and conference just makes it all the better. We had a weekend full of delicious food, being lazy, being spiritually fed, and surrounded by the beautiful fall colors. The best.

There were several accidents and a BYU football game that created insane amounts of traffic. We weren't able to go our normal route on the highway so it took extra long to get there. The boys luckily fell asleep in the back seat. Love Eli's crossed legs.
Couldn't even unpack the car before soaking in the yumminess of these trees. Fall is scrumptious! As soon as I got Jack out his car seat, he immediately looked up at the trees and did his 'surprised' face and voice. He loved looking at the trees.
I love seeing my parents as grandparents. They are obsessed with Jack and Eli and the boys absolutely adore them. We worked on learning how to say "Nana" and "Papa" over the weekend and Eli got it!
Zach gave the boys a second hair cut. We wanted to get rid of the rattiness in the back that was still there. We went pretty short with the clippers and they boys didn't even cry. They are looking so grown up and handsome!
Cuddling in front of the heater and dancing to music.
Enjoying my dad's completely homemade cinnamon rolls. Our favorite Conference tradition!
 Loved the fresh fall walks.
It's so fun to show the horses to Jack and Eli now that they finally are able to really interact with them. It was hilarious when Jack full on would jump and scream out loud when the horse's face got too close to him. He did it twice and we were cracking up!
Jack and Eli worked on their walking.
They loved the music best from conference. Always dancing to the songs.
Em got to work on homework all weekend. How fun.
Zach's creation of homemade popcorn with lime on it. He was pretty proud.
And all too soon it was over. The boys did so good on the way home just snuggling with their stuffies.
