3 Years!

We've been married for 3 wonderful years! We have been planning on spending our anniversary apart this year because Zach was supposed to still be in Canada. But luckily he came home early! So we got to do our yearly anniversary picture going back through time. Hope we keep this tradition alive each year cuz I love the idea of it!

Zach totally surprised me by showing up on our doorstep Wednesday night! Although I was trying to call him out on his sneaky plan the whole day, he tried all day to convince me he was still in Canada. It was the best to see that my hunch was right when he had me check the front porch for a 'package' and finding HIM instead. :) So unreal to be in our home again together after 4 months. It's the best. He stayed at school with me all night watching all 4 back-to-school-night sessions and has been helping me so much getting things ready in my class. I love having this man back by my side!

It's so great getting to spend the whole day today together on our anniversary and doing whatever we feel like whenever we feel like it. We slept in and stayed in bed for a long time. Zach made yummy cinnamon pancakes for breakfast while I got ready for the day. We went to the Gardeners Market at Merlin Olsen Park and got a guava jam filled churro that was to die for. We went to Sam's Club to fill up on free samples. We went to the Willow Park zoo. We walked around some parks/ponds in town. We hung out at home (which is totally exciting still since it's been so long!).  And tonight we're gonna eat dinner at Chili's (thank you end-of-year gift cards from teaching),  watch the Real soccer game on TV, watch a movie on Netflix, then go outside to look at the stars for a while. After these 3 years I feel more love than ever for this man in my life. We feel so lucky and happy to have each other.
