The last two weeks because of 'The Cup' (the huge competition between offices of Vivint) Zach works even more if you can believe it. Monday through Saturday they leave the apartments at 8:30am to have their office meeting, go out to their area, then stop knocking around 9:45pm. They have been traveling to smaller towns out of Calgary so most nights Zach won't get home until close to midnight because of having to wait for reps who are still in houses closing a sale, then making the hour drive home with his group. LONG days if you ask me. But Calgary South is the #1 office right now and the team to beat. It's awesome cuz they went into the competition as the underdogs and have smashed all their competitors so far getting them to the top of the brackets. The office is doing great and if they keep it up they will have this schedule for 2 more weeks to then win 'The Cup' (this includes a 3 day ski trip, snowboard, headphones, sunglasses, hat, duffle bag, a million different kinds of clothes, and of course the pride of winning!)
So long story short (ha) the only time Zach and I have to be together are Sundays and of course the hours in the middle of the night. Yesterday was my last Sunday to be here and we had absolutely NOTHING going on! I was thrilled to have a Sunday to do whatever we wanted with no scheduled trips or adventures. We enjoyed church, made dinner together, took a nap together, skyped with his family, and took a walk at Heritage Park where we played around at the lake.
Skipping rocks. Zach has tried to teach me a million times and I still can't get it right. But he's pro.
We walked around in the water and found that there were tons of little shrimps swimming everywhere! Zach loved catching them in his hands.
Watching the clouds/sunset on a bench on our walk back.
Already getting super sad I have to leave him on Thursday...boo
