Christmas Day

We had such a great Christmas morning! Jack and Eli didn't whine to get up until closer to 8:00 which was awesome. We all gathered in my parents room before heading out to the tree together.
Jack and Eli's big surprise was a basketball hoop. At first they weren't quite sure what to do with it, but they had fun with it after we showed them. It was a blast opening presents with them and seeing the things they loved. Their favorite thing was Emily's new pots and pans (haha), their new hats, and some necklaces.
(Jack's new pjs were way too big for some reason and he'd waddle around with he footies completely off his feet and hands hidden inside his sleeves. He looked so cute)
Zach and I were blessed to get a piano/keyboard!! I'm thrilled to finally be able to play the piano on a regular basis in our home.
My mom and dad got themselves a toy to have around at their house for their grandkids to play with. The boys loved putting it together with grandpa and learning how it works!
After things settled down, we quickly packed up and headed back to Logan to celebrate more with the Johnsons. I've found it's harder for me to get the camera out and take pictures for some reason. I think it's just that there is more going on with all the fun cousins around and it takes a little more effort to keep track of the boys. But even though it's not well documented, we had a lot of fun! We made pizzas in their new pizza oven which were so yummy. We exchanged gifts with everyone, and just hung out. Jack learned how to sing "Let it Go" from his cousin Grace, and they both loved playing with their new toys. The sisters got matching skirts!
We had birthday cake to celebrate the birth of Jesus.
By the end of the day, Jack and Eli were not happy campers though. Too much fun, traveling, and out of their normal routine really got to them. We ended the day with screaming/crying before finally getting settled for bed. We are so blessed to be able to be together for the holidays though and to get to spend time with everyone we care about most. What a great Christmas this year! Couldn't resist taking pictures of these studs in their new outfits! Forgot to mention we woke up to a world of white and it made the day all the more magical!
