Jamie and Makhi visit!

We are so lucky that we got to see Jamie and Makhi again this summer! We met at my parent's house Sunday night and the boys ran off to play right away throughout the backyard. I can't believe what a grown up little boy Makhi has turned into and it just melted my heart getting to see my boys follow him around and interact together. Makhi had us all laughing with the big words he could say/repeat and Jamie and I got to catch up late into the night. It was so nice.

The next morning Zach came with us (and thank goodness he did!) to the Museum of Natural Curiosity in Thanksgiving Point. It was AWESOME! We were there 3 hours and still didn't explore all that it had to offer. It was crazy crowded with children but our boys really enjoyed themselves and us adults did too :) Now here is a photo dump from the day:
(Tried maybe 4 times to get a group shot but never was successful. Dang kids!)
We first went to this table full of little rubber pieces and a topography light that would change according the height of the mounds you make. I think it was their favorite from the day and they could have played with it much longer than we let them. It was awesome.
This blew on you with winds up to 85 mph!
Earthquake table. I love Eli's little finger pushing the button to start it and those 3 cute bums!
Water table where Jack kept trying to drink the water which ended up drenching his shirt. Such a fun idea though!
Laundry room
Bank vault
Garden space where they could push wheelbarrows and feed bunnies. (There were 3 sets of identical twins just in this little area!)
This room was full of optical illusions and experiments. They were a little young to get it but still liked looking at everything.
Magic trick room! The floating heads of Makhi-Jack-Eli
Took a snack break in the cafe before getting off to more exploring.
This floor lit up with different lights you had to try and stomp on.
The food market. Zach dressed them up like this!
Another little baby play space that they spent a lot of time in.
Outside playground
Photo booth
There was an awesome jungle-like place to climb through above everything else but we didn't do it. It was still fun to see the airplane though!
Meltdowns occurring but had to try for one last pic!
We then stopped for lunch at McDonalds and had our final goodbyes in the parking lot. Never enough time but so grateful for the time we get. I love having Jamie and her family in my life and the friendships our families have together!
That night Emily threw a golden birthday party in our backyard for Caroline. I've never seen Jack and Eli so comfortable amongst a big group of strangers and they were dancing and putting on a show for everyone most the evening. They were SO cute and fun with everyone! They got to watch part of the movie outside on a projector before going to bed.
Such a cute picture with their Papa at the party.
