We've got honey, Honey!

When Zach checked his bees yesterday they had filled yet another Super (a box of ten frames)! So Zach brought a frame home to extract the honey. I can't believe how heavy just this one frame was and how much honey comes from it. Zach said we have over 50 pounds of honey in that hive so far. Awesome! To get the honey, you put cheesecloth over a bowl and scrape all the honeycomb off both sides of the frame onto the cheesecloth The honey seeps out of the wax and through the cheesecloth into the bowl overnight.
