Europe Day 4- Camp/Concert

After breakfast, we headed to the park for the first day of camp. It's such a pretty park full of trees, benches, and shade. Much different than we expected! The morning group was the older set of kids. They had a lesson by Roland about believing in and working toward their dreams. (We had amazing translators who followed everyone who needed it during the camp. Couldn't have done it without them!)

Then they split up into groups for rotating activities. My mom, dad, and I started our group with some ice breaker games then played angry birds on the stage. We set up boxes and had them launch tennis balls with a sling shot to knock them down.

In the other groups, they got to learn the guitar, practice photography on digital cameras, tie dye their camp shirts, and Keri gave haircuts (during the whole week).

In between camps we had pizza for lunch at the restaurant right in the park. It was super nice and had the fanciest bathroom I've ever seen in my life haha.

The younger kids came for the afternoon camp. For our group, we had them make photo shoot props and practice taking pictures of each other.

The other groups were tie dying their camp shirt, doing music with bells, and sports.

After camp a lot of us went to a benefit concert. Ionut (one of Bridge of Love's foster kids) and his band were part of the show. It was of a little boy who's family needed money for some treatment. It was really cool to get to see the community come together to put on this show. It had dancing, singing, bands, etc. I know we took some pictures, but I can't find them...

After the concert we met up for dinner at the same place we'd always eat at. Dinner always took a few hours because there were so many of us. But always yummy and a good time. One of my meals came on a burning skillet! It was so yum and HOT!
