Camp on Wednesday was split up with girls and boys.
Girl wore pink and boys wore orange.
First they had a lesson about keeping their bodies healthy.
I loved this lesson because they were so blunt about smoking,
drinking, and abuse. The kids were invited to sign a pledge to
make correct choices with their bodies. I loved it.

The girls did yoga and jumprope, decorated frames,
got their hair done, and made hair accessories.
The boys got to play a flight simulator game on my
dads iPad then practiced flying a remote control
helicopter, played basketball, and played water games.
After the first session of camp, the news came to
report about Bridge of Love and the camp. They
filmed us playing with the parachute, the kids
holding their signed pledge, and them singing I
Believe I Can Fly. Pretty cool! Emily got to check
off being on tv from her bucket list :)
The afternoon was almost the same groups. Girls did
yoga and jumprope, painted frames, and got their hair done.
Boys made wooden planes instead of using
the remote control helicopter, played water
games, and played sports/races.
My dad was a rockstart with these little boys.
Bogdon especially love him. My dad kept
saying, "Where are my grandkids? I'd be such
a good grandpa Karli!" You really will dad! I can't
to see that. I adore these pictures.
We all fell in love with little George. He is the
cutest little 2 year old and every girl was dying
for his attention. We miss this cutie.
This group of girls from BYU used their week
off of there Romanian internship to come to help
with the camp. This was their last day with us at
camp and we couldn't have done it without them.
They helped SO much with communicating with
the kids and always had energy to spare. I loved
getting to know them! Megan, Michelle, Angela,
Nicole, and Aislynn we love you! (Em's and I are
in the works in setting up Jake with one of these lucky
ladies. She shall remain nameless at this point :)
After camp we headed to the children's hospital.
This was an experience that will stay in my memory
forever. It was so sad to see this 'hospital' with so
little equipment to help these children. It was more
just like a normal bedroom with sick children. No
monitors to be seen and very little other tools. Some
had epilepsy. Some had built up fluid in the brain, I
can never remember the name for it (Cleo). Some
had fetal alcohol syndrome (Elena) and one baby
especially was so sad to be with because he was just
skin and bone and could hardly breath and would just
lay in the crib trying to cry. He was too fragile to lift
and it broke our hearts seeing him suffer so much.
But there were others who we were able to feel like
we could share our love with and knew they felt it.
Their spirits are so vibrant and strong. It was truly an
amazing thing to be surrounded by such special children
of God and remembering that there is so much in store
for them on the other side.
Elena really touched my heart. She has THE
brightest personality. She would copy anything you
do. She is 4 years old and was born with
fetal alcoholic syndrome.

After the hospital we went to dinner at Da Vinci.
We had to walk though really run down
neighborhoods to get there then all of a sudden
this super nice restaurant is there. It was super
yummy italian food and we all got yummy
drinks that made us crazy. Talk about hyper and
out of control. Our fan and the BYU girls had
a blast acting like way too loud. But it was a blast.
Nada Coladas baby
The talking bottle.
Crying. It was just too much
