Adventures in Banff pt.1

My parents and Emily are here for a little visit this week. Banff and Jasper have always been on my dad's list of places to see, so having a daughter and son-in-law living here was the perfect excuse to come see them! They got in Saturday evening and we went out for Thai food then waited for Zach to make it home from work so we could go see Batman. He rushed home as fast as he could and we were just a few minutes late to the 10:30 showing. Zach is in love with the batman movies and this one didn't disappoint him.

Sunday we headed over to Banff and I knew my dad would just be in absolute heaven. He was. Everywhere is just pure mountain perfection. We drove up to Lake Louise and had a picnic and walked around. The lakes are SO blue and freezing from the glaciers.

Then we drove to Lake Moraine. Walked across the logs to sit on the rocks. Could sit there forever its so beautiful.

Then we took them on the Johnston hike to the waterfalls. They loved it too!

Had to stop and take a picture of the awesome mountain you can't miss when coming here.

Then we shopped around Banff a bit and ate at the Old Spaghetti Factory then headed home.
