Vivint Gives Back

One thing I love about Vivint is that they are a very charitable and service oriented company. They encourage their reps to donate at least one sale to a charity. That may not seem like a lot. But if you've ever done sales, you know how much work, sweat, and prayers go into getting a single sale. Vivint also plans a group service project to do one of the mornings. Monday morning we got up bright and early to leave at 7 and help out at Habitat for Humanity Restore. It is an organization that builds homes for needy families and uses this retail store to help fund their projects. Everything in the store is donated (a lot like the DI, but just home stuff). There must have been some miscommunication though because we didn't end up getting let in or told what our jobs were until after 9. It was kind of frustrating to be honest. Zach and I worked on organizing all of the the hard wood onto the shelves and also putting out millions of their packs of screws up to be sold. It wasn't really rewarding work but it was good to get out and work as a team to do something that needed to be done.
