Christmas Eve morning we met at IHOP for breakfast with Bob and Willa, Mandi's family, and Adam's family. I ordered one kids breakfast for the boys to share and they finished in less than minute. I underestimate the eating skills on these two!
Then we went bowling where the boys actually got to have their own game for the first time. They were all into it until they earned a candy bar for getting a strike. Then of course they were all about getting that goodness in them instead of wanting to bowl. They had a lot of fun picking which ball to use and pushing it down the ramp. They also loved the arcade games while the men played a second game.
We then attempted to eat lunch and visit some more with Bob and Willa at their house before switching families, but the boys had an epic meltdown and we had to leave. We let them have a good nap at home then headed for Farmington. We had such a perfect evening together. Les got to join us which was so fun and every family member was there. We had our traditional candlelit meal where we each serve and clean up a course and by the end we are stuffed silly. The boys were so well behaved during dinner and did so well to try new foods and eat with us.
Zach and I gave them some new books and pjs for their Christmas Eve gift. We started this tradition last year and I hope to continue it every year.
The pjs were a little tight even though I bought them in a size up. They were being such hams and posing so funny for us in front of the tree. Showing their muscles and making the cheesiest faces. We are all obsessed with them.
Then we had our program part of the evening where we watched Luke 2 along with other LDS christmas videos, my mom gave a message, and we sang Christmas songs. Jack led the music and took his job very seriously. Baden made us chocolate molten cake and it was delicious!
After we put the munchkins to bed we ate chocolate molten cake that Braden made us and it was delicious!
Then we finished the night playing games, resulting in big money for all. My generous father is kind of the best. It was such a fun night spent with my favorite people!
